10th Annual Sober Rafting Trip
Come join us for a weekend of fun &
fellowship!
Our trip starts
Friday morning @ 6:00 a.m. We leave on a chartered bus from
St. Joseph's
Episcopal Church in Buena Park and head north where we spend
Friday
night at the Vagabond Hotel in
Dinner
for fifty at Joe's Crab Shack?
- after that many of us
attend a nearby A.A. meeting at the local Alano club.
Saturday morning
after breakfast we head for Cache Creek where we will join
another large sober
group for two half days of rafting. The hotel serves a decent free
continental breakfast or there is a Denny's next door. Bus leaves @
8:00 a.m.
Meals Saturday night
and Sunday morning are provided.
You will need a tent
& sleeping bag for Saturday night.
The temperature will
likely be very warm!
Sunday afternoon we
head back for the long ride home - with a stop at Harris Ranch for dinner.
Expect to arrive back
in Orange County around midnight.
The rafting trip
& bus charter will be about $225.00 - if the bus is full.
The hotel rooms are
$90 - cost for other meals is up to you.
There will be a wide
variety of snacks & drinks on the bus.

to hold your spot.

by May 15st
